“Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’ān, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?”

SŪRAH MUḤAMMAD · 47:24 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

“[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.”

SŪRAH ṢĀD · 38:29 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

“Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’ān? If it had been from [any] other than Allāh, they would have found within it much contradiction.”

SŪRAH AN-NISĀʾ · 4:82 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

“And We have certainly made the Qur’ān easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?”

SŪRAH AL-QAMAR · 54:17 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

“And We send down of the Qur’ān that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.”

SŪRAH AL-ISRĀʾ · 17:82 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

“Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allāh and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a transaction [i.e., profit] that will never perish —”

SŪRAH FĀṬIR · 35:29 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

“Or add to it, and recite the Qur’ān with measured recitation.”

SŪRAH AL-MUZZAMMIL · 73:4 · ṢAḤĪḤ INTERNATIONAL

The AyahInk Method

A simple 5-step rhythm for every verse

Our signature framework turns a blank page into a guided conversation with the Book of Allah — the same structure runs through the app, the journals and every course.

1

The Ayah

Sit with the verse — Arabic, and a translation you connect with.

2

What it says

Capture the plain meaning in your own words.

3

What it means

Go deeper — the lesson about Allah, life and the self.

4

What it asks of me

One concrete action to live the ayah today.

5

Duʿā

Close with a personal supplication inspired by the verse.

The inkwell is fresh — AyahInk has just launched. Open the Journal, reflect with it, and your words may be the first to appear here.

Private by design

Your journal never leaves your device. Everything you write, highlight or draw is stored by your own browser — AyahInk runs no servers for your writing, sets no trackers, and shows no ads.

Use the ⚙ settings inside the Journal to download a full backup anytime and restore it on any device. When cloud sync arrives, it will be strictly opt-in.

Questions

What is AyahInk?

A small studio crafting companions for a life with the Qur'an — a free web journal, print and digital tadabbur journals, reflection cards, gentle courses, and Islamic books for kids, parents and new believers.

Is the Qur'an Journal really free?

Yes. Every surah, the mushaf, translations, notes and drawings — free, no account needed. Subscriptions add cloud-sync convenience only, never access to the Qur'an.

Where is my writing stored?

By default, in your browser's own storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and the Journal works fully without an account. Back up any time from the ⚙ menu and restore on another device. Cloud Sync is now available and is strictly opt-in — nothing leaves your device unless you create an account and switch it on. Synced data travels over HTTPS and is stored encrypted at rest on Cloudflare; what that does and does not mean is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Which translations are included?

English, Urdu and Bangla. Every ayah carries a row of translation buttons, and each one is an independent switch — tap to show a translation, tap again to hide it, in any combination. English is what you get to begin with; Urdu and Bangla are one tap away. The same row sits in the recitation mushaf, which opens on the Arabic alone.

Which edition of each is up to you, from the Journal's cover or its ⚙ menu: English in The Clear Quran (Dr. Mustafa Khattab) or Ṣaḥīḥ International; Urdu in Fateh Muhammad Jalandhri or Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi; Bangla in মুহিউদ্দীন খান (Muhiuddin Khan) or জহুরুল হক (Zohurul Hoque); and the Arabic between IndoPak (the default) and Uthmani. The defaults are built in and work offline; anything else downloads once, the first time you ask for it, and is then kept for offline use. Full attributions are in the Journal, under ⚙ → Credits.

When do the print journals and books arrive?

The hardcover Tadabbur Journal, reflection cards and the first AyahInk Books titles are in the inkwell now. Join the list above and you'll be first to know.
